Johan Fahlstrøm

Johan Peter Broust Fahlstrøm (1867–1938) was born in Trondheim, Norway. He was regarded as Norway's leading male actor before World War I. Fahlstrøm was also a theatre manager, and, together with his wife Alma, he ran the Fahlstrøm's Theatre in Christiania. This building is now the Eldorado cinema.

Their only son, Arne Fahlstrøm, died in the Titanic disaster.
As they had no other children, they willed their fortune to the Norwegian Sea Rescue Society, which used it to purchase a rescue boat that was given Arne's name.
